摘要
Identification of the transmitted/founder 病毒 makes possible, for the first time, a 基因組-wide analysis of host 免疫 responses against the infecting HIV-1 proteome. A complete dissection was made of the primary HIV-1-specific T cell response induced in three acutely infected patients. Cellular assays, together with new algorithms which identify sites of positive selection in the 病毒 基因組, showed that primary HIV-1-specific T cells rapidly select escape 突變s concurrent with falling 病毒 load in acute infection.
