摘要
A general assumption of quasi物種 models of replicons dynamics is that the fitness of a genotype is entirely determined by its sequence. However, a more 生物ly plausible situation is that fitness depends on the 蛋白質s that catalyze metabolic reactions, including replication. In a stirred 族群 of replicons, such as 病毒es replicating and accumulating within the same cell, the association between a given 基因組 and the 蛋白質s it encodes is not tight as it can be replicated by 蛋白質s translated from other 基因組s. We have investigated how this complementation phenomenon affects the error threshold in simple quasi物種 平均場 models. We first studied a model in which the master and the mutant 基因組s code for wild- type and mutant replicases, respectively. We assume that the mutant replicase has a reduced activity and tha
