摘要
Cell fate is programmed through gene regulatory 網絡s that perform several calculations to take the appropriate decision. In silico 演化ary optimization mimics the way Nature has designed such gene regulatory 網絡s. In this review we discuss the basic principles of these 演化ary approaches and how they can be applied to engineer synthetic 網絡s. We summarize the basic guidelines to implement an in silica 演化ary design method, the operators for 突變 and selection that iteratively drive the 網絡 architecture towards a specified dynamical behavior. Interestingly, as it happens in natural 演化, we show the existence of patterns of punctuated 演化.
