摘要
Aim To evaluate the strength of evidence for hypotheses explaining the relationship between 氣候 and 物種 richness in 森林 plots. We focused on the effect of energy availability which has been hypothesized to influence 物種 richness: (1) via the effect of productivity on the total number of individuals (the more individuals hypothesis, MIH); (2) through the effect of temperature on metabolic rate (metabolic theory of 生物多樣性, MTB); or (3) by imposing climatic limits on 物種 distributions.
