摘要

The factors that account for the differences in the 經濟 productivity of 城市 areas have remained difficult to measure and identify unambiguously. Here we show that a microscopic derivation of 城市 縮放律 relations for 經濟 quantities vs. 族群, obtained from the consideration of 社會 and infrastructural properties common to all cities, implies an effective model of 經濟 output in the form of a Cobb-Douglas type production function. As a result we derive a new expression for the Total Factor Productivity (TFP) of 城市 areas, which is the standard measure of 經濟 productivity per unit of aggregate production factors (labor and capital).
