摘要
We use an 演化ary model to simulate 智能體s who choose between two options with 隨機ally varying payoffs. Two types of 智能體s are considered: individual learners, who rely on trial-and-error methods, and 社會 learners, who imitate the wealthiest sampled individual. 智能體s adapt to changing environments within one generation by using their respective learning strategy. The frequency of the 智能體 types adapts between generations according to the 智能體s' acquired wealth. During the course of 演化, 社會 learning becomes dominant, resulting in three major effects: First, for better or worse, the decisions of 社會 learners are more exaggerated than those of individual learners. Second, 社會 learners react with a delay to changes in the environment. Third, the behavior of 社會 learners becomes more and more detached from r
