摘要
Intelligent systems have emerged in our biosphere in different contexts and achieving different levels of complexity. The requirement of communication in a 社會 context has been in all cases a determinant. The human 大腦, probably co-evolving with 語言, is an exceedingly successful example. Similarly, 社會 insects complex collective decisions emerge from 資訊 exchanges between many 智能體s. The difference is that such processing is obtained out of a limited individual 認知 power. 計算 models and embodied versions using non-living systems, particularly involving robot 群集s, have been used to explore the potentiality of collective intelligence. Here we suggest a novel approach to the problem grounded in the 遺傳 engineering of unicellular systems, which can be modified in order to interact, store memories or ad
