摘要

Mistletoes, lianas, vines, and epiphytes fulfill many of the 族群 dynamic criteria of animal macroparasites. A new study illustrates elegant ways to quantify cost to the host and how this impacts competition between mistletoe 物種. It opens the door to a much fuller consideration of plant parasites as macroparasites.
