摘要
病毒es have established relationships with almost every other living organism on Earth and at all levels of 生物 organization: from other 病毒es up to entire ecosystems. In most cases, they peacefully coexist with their hosts, but in most relevant cases, they parasitize them and induce 疾病s and pandemics, such as the AIDS and the most recent avian influenza and COVID-19 pandemic events, causing a huge impact on health, society, and economy. 病毒es play an essential role in shaping the eco-演化ary dynamics of their hosts, and have been also involved in some of the major 演化ary innovations either by working as vectors of 遺傳 資訊 or by being themselves coopted by the host into their 基因組s. 病毒es can be studied at different levels of 生物 organization, from the molecular mechanisms of 基因組 replication, gene expr
