摘要
Predicting how ecological communities will respond to dist城市ces is notoriously challenging, especially given the variability in 物種' responses within the same community. Focusing solely on aggregate responses may obscure extinction risks for certain 物種 owing to compensatory effects, emphasizing the need to understand the drivers of the response variability at the 物種 level. Yet, these drivers remain poorly understood. Here, we reveal that despite the typical complexity of biotic interaction 網絡s, 物種' responses follow a discernible pattern. Specifically, we demonstrate that the 物種 whose 族群 abundances are most reduced by biotic interactions-which are not always the rarest 物種-are those that exhibit the strongest responses to dist城市ces. This insight enables us to pinpoint sensitive 物種 within comm
